The all new Eric Niceberg Trio is an exceptional group of musicians who truly bring Eric’s uniquely eclectic playing style to the fore and allow for an incredible listening experience.
After many years playing with some of the biggest names on the New York Jazz scene, this group represents something of a homecoming, composing of some of the most prominent Israeli jazz musicians currently performing; Avri Borochov on bass and Ron Almog on drums.
The trio has a distinctive and entirely unique sound, their musical journey facilitated by each member’s passion and mastery over their instrument.
Though jazz trios are often bound to a particular period in history or style of playing, the Niceberg trio seeks to break free of these bounds to provide listeners with an interesting and totally fresh listening experience.
Due respect is always paid to the classics and to the influences that have inspired a love for music in millions, but the Niceberg trio is about incorporating this with an entirely modern approach to exploring all new musical landscapes.
